Mr. Silk graduated from Michigan State and has worked for IBM, Price Waterhouse & Co. and several
smaller organizations. He has been a consultant to many fortune 500 clients, as well as small
businesses. His background, skills and experience are varied and include being a CIO, consultant
and project manager. He has over 30 years of experience in various manufacturing, distribution, retail
and service industries with proven expertise in providing superior results. Spencer’s background
gives him broad expertise and a unique business perspective. He communicates comfortably and
effectively with all levels of management and IT organizations. He works to develop optimal solutions
that are thorough, practical and cost efficient. He has installed systems, improved business
processes, audited systems and has created Disaster Recovery Plans in a variety of industries and
has defined usable metrics to measure improvement.
Spencer has been an adjunct professor at the University of Detroit, Mercy, College of Business
Administration, in the Graduate Studies in Business. In addition, he has been certified as a:
